My name is Pete. Trainees of TMD call me Coach Pete. I am writing a series of articles to introduce me and my training system, Transformational Business Dynamics, to you. This first article is an introduction to what TMD is all about. Future articles will break down how to empower people to transform themselves, others and their organization. I will often make note of the Self, referring to you or a single individual. With Self, I bring reference to the wholeness and completeness of an individual. I will also reference others, or “the other”, meaning an individual with whom you are collaborating, managing, or simply in communication. Lastly, when I reference the organization, I am speaking to your business. The organization could be a small business, a large corporation, or even the department that you work in. I am here to create organizational success: to transform the success of your business by redefining how you engage with both Self and others in the workplace. TBD was created out of TMD, so before we dive deeper into your business, I’d like to share the foundation of my training with you.
TMD: The Foundation for Transformation
Transformational Business Dynamics (TBD) is a subset of Transformational Mind Dynamics™ (TMD). TMD is a training system that introduces people to the truth that their brains are programmed and that Programming is dictating the quality of their lives. With TMD, participants are often looking to transform a personal or family relationship, such as healing their marriage or relieving their anxiety. In TMD, you are invited to focus on you: to dig deep into why you are who you are, and why you have what you have.
In TMD, trainees come face to face with how they create their life, to discover they created it exactly the way they wanted it to be. This includes all of the “good” and all of the “bad”. This experiential insight is realized as people work through the fear, shame, sadness and regret they unconsciously carry with them. This type of “emotional baggage” or programming is what sabotages their lives. From this insight, Graduates from the TMD Basic Training set off to create a new life for themselves, one that is inspiring. This is a profound insight and will impact their lives, for the rest of their lives. Graduates of TMD recognize they are in charge of their lives and can create what they choose. Commonly, Graduates report renewed relationships and a passion for living, along with new life goals.
Meet your Coach:
Registrants of the Basic Training often ask how I learned to lead the trainings that I lead. I begin by saying that I have no college degree and no formal training; that TMD is a result of me, at a young age, recognizing that people create their lives yet are unwilling to be accountable for every aspect of what they create. For example, I was able to see how parents limited their children’s scope of participation in life by the way they communicated with and punished or didn’t punish their children. I was able to see the connection between communication, boundaries and performance; what I now know is the nature of programming. To be clear, programming is a beast, so I will henceforth refer to it as Programming. Programming strives to reproduce itself. It is a pronoun unto itself. There is Self and there is Programming, and you are not your Programming. Got that?
Programming?
Your brain is programmed to operate and that programmed operation is creating the way you think, feel, speak, and perceive. The programmed “mechanism,” your mind, is creating the choices you make in your life and thus creating your life path. Simply put, TMD’s Basic Training helps people to develop the type of self-awareness that empowers them to expand the number of choices they have access to making in their lives, realizing the number is infinite. The moment the trainee gets that they are programmed and that they have programmed themselves, they experience the converse reality that they are unlimited possibility. They have expanded their choices from one (the programmed mind) to transcendence, an infinite number of possibilities. They are alive.
Through TMD I am able to see what is possible for healthy human beings. I see people in every training make the concept of anything is possible a reality for themselves and the people they love. The experience of TMD makes participants feel free, alive, and connected to something greater than themselves. This experience drives inspiration; the Graduate is ready to play again, to enjoy the challenge of life again or for the first time. Then, participants go home leave the supportive environment of the training room where anything is possible. They re-enter a world of resistance, excuses and limitations—a programmed environment. They go back to an environment that limits performance and kills off possibility in exchange for power, safety and control.
Thus, the journey begins for the brave soul when he/she chooses to take on the challenge of transforming their environment. Through their commitment to a life of excellence, Graduates learn how to create transformational opportunities for themselves and for the people they love. TMD Graduates learn how to think, feel, speak and perceive in a way that brings about awareness—the type of awareness that provides possibility versus defense reactions, and listening and accountability versus sarcasm and disconnection. Mothers learn how to empower their children and husband instead of unconsciously sabotaging their performance for the opportunity to be acknowledged. Husbands learn how to listen, be vulnerable, and take a stand that empowers his family to take on life’s challenges without fear of abandonment or rejection. In essence, Graduates learn how to source transformational possibilities for others. In doing so, the Graduate has created an empowered environment, or family life or corporate culture. A symbiotic relationship is created, which I call a win-win reality. The Graduate shares their transformed Self with the people they love and the people they love empower them to live their transformation.
Transforming the World starts with You:
Before a Graduate can learn how to create an environment or culture that empowers others to choose possibility, they must first learn to lead themselves. The Graduate must first learn how to be fully responsible for their Programming in a way that inspires others to go after transforming their own limiting beliefs, addictions, and behaviors. The Graduate learns how to be the source of possibility. This is their training, not what happens in the training room. The training room is the practice field; the Game is your life. Think of it like this, you come to TMD to stretch your mind the way an athlete goes to the gym to train. The athlete goes to the gym so they can perform on the field, not so they can perform in the gym. As the Graduate plays the Game, they begin to see awesome results that were not possible before. How do they do it? Like this:
The Process of Transformation:
When you transform your Self, you become completely accountable for the quality of your life and every aspect of it that you created. You transform your world when you are the source by which others choose accountability. This means others seek transformation because they are inspired by your transformation:
- Self = Being Accountable for the way I think feel speak and perceive.
- Other = Taking a stand for others to be accountable. Imagine a “being” that causes others to choose impeccability.
- Family, Group, Organization = Taking a stand, and being responsible for a number of people. This agreement is an awesome possibility that brings about loads of opportunity to address your Self. This is where you become an Olympic athlete at the Transformation Game.

Graduate Report:
As manager of my department not even KNOWING I was "programmed" resulted in avoiding difficult tasks, procrastinating, ineffectual leadership and arrogance, "THINKING" I was doing things correctly. I was out of Integrity, with my goals for this department, with the management of this company, with my team and co-workers and with myself as a person. …. Now, instead of being combative I am proactive. I don't procrastinate and I get 3x's more work competed each day. I don't look at ANYTHING as impossible and I do NOT look for a way to use my victim to give me an "out". This has led to increased creativity, increased problem solving, decreased stress and much better communication and rapport within the department and interacting with all teammates. I have let go of emotional investments in other people's programs so when they act out their program its effect upon me is zero. Thanks Again Coach! I AM- A Creative, Communicative, and Confrontational source for Integrity! Sincerely Graduate

Transformational Business Dynamics aligns the “self” with empowering choices that transforms the organization. TBD shows how authenticity, accountability and radical honesty moves people through limiting programmatic reactions to create a way of being that causes results. TBD sees the Self as the whole; the Self is the source that transforms the corporation.
